KAZ NOWAKOWSKI
Born in Germany in 1946, Kaz has become a popular figure in the ball manufacturing industry; this is all thanks to his many successes. As a specialist in rubber technology and mechanical engineering, Kaz has spearheaded many successful projects. He started his career, working at the tennis ball division at the famous Spalding factory in Australia as a production supervisor. From there he slowly worked his way up, holding several positions in the company which included R & D Manager, National Plant Operation Manager and eventually being made the Head of marketing. Coupled with this, Kaz has provided consultancy services to tennis ball factories around the world. As part of his project in Indonesia, he built the Tensindo Tennis ball factory while serving as the head consultant on tennis ball Product Development and installation of Quality assurance Systems. While he handled this project, the factory was producing Top Grade tennis balls for Spalding and Wilson. Amazingly, his knowledge goes well beyond just manufacturing of quality tennis balls. So far, he has helped to build top-notch Golf ball factories and has served as a consultant to some of the biggest golf, tennis, cricket, and football manufacturers around the world. From Indonesia to Thailand to India to China and in Australia, Kaz has been responsible for setting up many successful factories. Without mincing words, his knowledge of tennis ball manufacturing is second to none, and we are extremely grateful to have him on board as our chief advisor.
